Last week the east coast was sunny and 50 degrees, and I started to dream about shorter sleeves, ballet flats and my favorite Loewe denim jacket. Much to my dismay, I awoke from this dream earlier this week back to 20-something degrees and FRIGID. Why do I always fall for this trickery every winter? Maybe it’s the eternal fashion-obsessed optimist in me. Regardless, I have put together a list of the spring things I’m coveting. A girl can dream, can’t she?
This caught my eye that last time I stepped into Anthropologie, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. It’s a great piece to dress up or down as it would look great on its own or over a t-shirt. It also pairs perfectly with jeans as well as shorts. It has a nice amount of structure and just enough stretch. (IMO too much stretch looks cheap.)
I love a classic, and I’m obsessed with this moccasin/car shoe hybrid. You can wear this with literally ANYTHING, but I’ll probably wear it with a matching poplin stripe set (see below) or ripped light jeans & a peasant blouse.
How cute are these shorts? So easy and relaxed for weekends - they would look great with the shoes above - and the tie adds a unique touch to a basic white short.
Everyone needs a striped matching set! They’re so versatile and you can split up the set so easily. I love this red & pink stripe version.
Anyone that knows me knows that this skirt seems like it was made for me. Coming from my background in retail, I basically watched Ulla Johnson grow into the amazing brand it is today, and I have always been a huge fan. This looks epitomizes her expertise in feminine-without-being-too-frilly dressing that has given her the cult following she so rightly deserves.
My former Lucky Magazine editor, Andrea Linett, has once again posted about something that is such a great find and an equally great price. This has always been her magic and everyone should follow her substack: I Want to Be Her. An easy weekender bag to shlep everywhere in my favorite shade of army green?? YES PLEASE!
